SB-80DX ? That flash ? How old is it ? And those Nikon D2X’s are old too aren’t they ? I thought you shooted with a D3 ?

This was posted in 2007. Kinda hard to own a camera that wasn’t released yet. He now shoots two D3x bodies. Also the SB900 and 14-24mm, 24-70mm and new 70-200mm VR II.
shooted? um its not always the camera but how you use it. . . I know people who shoot with 20+ year old hassleblads with leaf backs. . . . its not about having the latest and greatest gear its about pursuing a passion.
noooob alert . . . . . what does the “F” stand for. eg he says 70-200mm f2. 8 What does the f and the 2. 8 mean?
f refers to the f stop or maximum aperture the lens is capable of.

Idk what it is but for some reason I like Nikon better than Canon. The only negative thing about nikon that canon has is the megapixels, most nikons have only 12 while canon has 18,20,15, etc. . do you know why nikon doesnt raise the megapixels until the d3 and d3x?
oh ok, could you list some of those things that Nikon has that you need?
These are just personal petpeeves. Professionally there is no difference. 1. Ergonomics, camera fits my hand better2. Flash, while Nikon flashs once, Canons, from what I’ve seen, flash with an ultra-annoying series of continuous burst3. Nikon is more user friendly to beginners by adding a help button to explain some menu functions. This helped me alot when I first started. 4. General purpose lens. Nikon 18-200mm. Canon doesnt have one. 5. Exposure meter on front menuI have more but no room.
